Absorption: Poor oral. Usu. given IV.

Excretion, t½: Renal excretion. 4 hr.
Toxicity/S.E.s: Renal dysfxn #1. Nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, anemia.
Utility: Cytomegalovirus
Special Features: 3x more expensive than gancyclovir.
